On April 10th, Crossbill Records will release a live EP from Sea of Bees, “Live at the Hangar – 5.13.11”. This is coming just weeks before she unveils her new full length record “Orangefarben” from Team Love. The 5 songs that are included on the Live EP were recorded in front of a small audience of family and friends in between extensive periods of touring throughout Europe. The Hangar recording studio is located in Sacramento and has served as Jules’ creative and musical playground and she was excited to welcome her closest supporters to the studio for the recording. The album will be available at all digital outlets on April 10th and physically copies will be sold at shows this summer.

Other recent Sea of Bees news includes the release of a Take Away performance that was recorded in the same neighborhood (Fort Greene) that Jules first stayed at on her inaugural tour in New York during the summer of 2010. This was recorded last fall and turned out beautifully. It’s quite an honor to be asked and included in this prestigious video series.
